Weddings are a celebration of love. Different people enjoy different thing in different ways. And that’s what we love so much. Who says that celebrating your love has to cost thousand dollars and everyone in your family and all your friends have to attend? Who says you have to spend months (or years) planning it and stress about it. If that’s not what makes you happy but you still wish for getting married on the beach…why not choose destination elopement? We promise you it will be beautiful, romantic, simple and quick and you’ll celebrate your love with just each other or the closest family/friends.
Simple weddings / elopements are budget and eco friendly (which we love) and if you choose a good wedding professionals, you will still have beautiful pictures to bring the memories of the day back in years to come.
Alexia & Brad’s elopement was wonderful. We are swooned by Alexia’s gorgeous look – knee-length laced dress, perfect hair and make-up (Casa Salon), wedding bouquet that compliments it all (Simply Unique by Lenka). As always, Say Yes in Key West did wonderful job planning this simple and beautiful elopement.
from Alexia & Brad
How we met: Really good friends set us up together and we started talking to each other at first on Facebook. We have been together for four years and were engaged for two.
Who proposed and how: Brad proposed to Alexia on a Christmas Eve. The first time they ever saw each other was on Christmas day at their friends’ house so he chose to make the proposal special by doing it at Christmas time.
Why Key West: We wanted to go some place sunny, warm, and on the ocean. We also wanted to have our kids with us and it seemed like a good place to take them where we could all have fun.
What’s planned for the future: We want to have our own honeymoon (no kids, ha ha) so hopefully we can plan for a romantic vacation.
What was your wedding/elopement inspiration: Alexia always wanted to get married by the ocean and Brad made it happen.
Where did you get your dress and shoes? The dress is from David’s Bridal in Springfield, MO and the shoes are from Aldo.
Where did the groom get his attire: Banana Republic
About rings: The bride’s ring is a sapphire because that is Alexia’s favorite stone and she wanted something different than the traditional diamond. Brad’s ring is tungsten and has a modern look that we both liked the first time we saw it.
